ENERGY CONSUMPTION ORGANISER

For my Master's thesis project, my goal was to create a prototype mobile application called ECO2 (Energy Consumption Organiser). My primary aim was to empower users to reduce their household carbon footprint and manage energy usage more efficiently.

This project was fundamentally about simplifying the lives of homeowners using smart meters and in-home displays, both in the present and the future.

DIGITAL ESCAPE ROOM - CYBER SECURITY AGENT

The recent Cyber Security Skills report from the Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport underscores a pressing need for comprehensive cybersecurity training, revealing that in 3 out of 10 private sector organisations (30%), such training is not even mandatory (Cybsafe, 2023). With data breaches in the private sector carrying an even higher average cost of £6.4 million (Ashby, P, 2019), the financial and repetitional stakes are considerable.

In response to this urgent call for heightened cybersecurity awareness,

I am excited to present an innovative solution - A gamified learning project designed to address the critical gap in cybersecurity education. Recognising that traditional training approaches may not be sufficient, This project initiative aims to engage and educate non-cyber employees effectively. By making cybersecurity training an interactive and enjoyable experience, I aspire to equip individuals like you with the knowledge and skills necessary to mitigate the risk of data breaches.

HITZONE GLOBAL

I had the opportunity to work on an exciting project that involved conducting an expert review on an interface design of my choice. The main objective was to evaluate various user testing methods and select the most suitable approach.

Informed by the evaluation process, I proceeded to create low-fidelity designs, followed by high-fidelity designs, and finally compiled a comprehensive list of recommendations. For user testing, I opted for a usability test approach, which involved observing participants, gathering their feedback, and assessing task performance and severity. Additionally, I utilized the System Usability Scale (SUS) questionnaire to gather further insights.

The inspiration to redesign the Hitzone Global Mobile App interface stemmed from my passion for promoting healthiness and well-being. This project allowed me to combine my love for UX design with my dedication to creating user-centered solutions in the health domain
